HAND PAINTED CANVAS BACKDROPS

by Scott Vo

Custom hand painted canvas photography backdrops with an aluminum core.

These 12ft wide hand painted canvas backdrops are on heavy duck canvas and is texturized with different tones of color. The roll can be custom cut to any length you desire. Our rolls average around 25ft long and most we can offer is 100ft. They create more depth in images and are heavy duty for dance photography, family portraits, and a variety of other subjects. The combination of heavy duty canvas and layers of paint create a durable surface for almost anything you photograph. We host dance photography sessions on these canvases with ballet dancers and the canvas doesn’t even have a scratch. The canvas is secured on an aluminum pipe that is compatible with most backdrop roller systems. The Impact and Manfrotto roller systems have been tested and are compatible with the aluminum core. Custom painted photography backdrops take about 5 business weeks to complete and dry. Since each canvas roll is hand painted, it is a long process and long term investment. Plain non primed canvas rolls are available for purchase if you want to paint it yourself!

HAND PAINTED CANVAS BACKDROPS vs SEAMLESS PAPER BACKDROPS

Let’s talk about the differences between the two. Both achieve the same goal basically, but depending on your project, one might benefit you over the other. Both have their strong attributes, but since we offer both types, let’s go over the key differences in backdrop types.
